It is a pink pulled toward the blue side of the spectrum, without the orange cast that warm flesh tones tend to have. It looks cool and clean, so it suits places where pink is to look otherworldly rather than sweet.
It comes into its own on figures and fantasy subjects: on the cool skin of supernatural characters, on flowers and mushrooms in a diorama, on striking pieces of equipment or on a saturated finish for a machine whose color is meant to draw the eye. It also serves well as a lighter tone when brightening darker violet areas, because it stays in the same cool position as they do.
Shake the bottle thoroughly before use; with saturated pigments the stirring decides the resulting shade. Light pinks cover less well than dark tones, so expect several thin coats and let each one dry. One heavy coat floods a raised surface and the detail is lost in it. On a light base the color comes out brighter; on a dark one it goes darker and more coats will be needed. For an airbrush, thin it with the thinner intended for this range according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging and try the ratio out first on a scrap piece of plastic.
It suits both figure modelers and builders of vehicles who want a cool pink ready to hand rather than mixing it themselves. Wipe the thread after work and close the bottle carefully. The model, brushes, thinner and varnish are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
