A set of laser-cut tropical leaves in thin printed paper from AMMO by Mig Jimenez. It is NEITHER a kit nor a paint but a scenic accessory for a diorama, intended to finish off the vegetation on dioramas and vignettes and to bring vehicles and figures themselves to life. The leaves are printed in color and cut precisely by laser, so they look realistic even seen up close. The size of the leaves is chosen to suit the most common modeling scales of 1:48, 1:35 and 1:32.
The leaves create dense tropical greenery: climbing plants, undergrowth and fallen leaves on the ground. They suit damp jungle scenes with tanks, armored vehicles and infantry, around buildings or as natural cover. Thanks to the small scale of the leaves you can build up layers and achieve a convincing density of growth.
Carefully separate the individual leaves and glue them on with a small amount of PVA glue (white glue); cyanoacrylate glue will also serve for a firmer bond. The paper leaves can be tinted or toned with acrylics, oils and washes so that they match the rest of the scene, and knocked back with a final clear coat. Work in layers from the bottom up.
It is a scenic accessory, not a model. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
