Late Luftwaffe Cockpits is a set from AMMO for painting and weathering the cockpits of later German aircraft of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set is aimed at faithfully painting the cockpits of later German aircraft and bringing out their detail, as their interiors were executed in the dark gray RLM 66 (Schwarzgrau). It holds an acrylic base paint and, alongside it, weathering products (a wash and one more effect) that bring out the instrument panels, the levers and the structure of the cabin. It thus helps to reach a realistic, slightly worn look without lengthy mixing of shades.
The RLM 66 shade was the standard for the interiors of most German fighters and ground-attack aircraft of the closing stage of the war, such as the Messerschmitt Bf 109 or the Focke-Wulf Fw 190.
For modelers building German aircraft of the Second World War who want the interior color and the weathering matched in a single set.
These are modeling paints and weathering products, not a kit. The acrylic paint is thinned with water or with acrylic thinner, while the enclosed weathering products have a different chemistry, so follow the instructions and work in a ventilated room.
