Plastic letters and numbers 2 mm from Green Stuff World: a set of three-dimensional characters for signs, numbers and boards in a diorama.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains three-dimensional plastic capital letters and numbers two millimeters high, in an angular gothic-style shape. They are not decals or stickers, but real three-dimensional characters that are glued onto a surface and, once painted, cast a shadow of their own. Because they are plastic, they are worked like the parts of a kit: they can be cut, sanded and joined with ordinary plastic modeling cement.
Lift the characters with tweezers and lay the sign out dry, ideally along a thin pencil line, so that the row does not wander. Glue them one at a time and with a small amount of glue, otherwise the detail of the shape is flooded. A character can be painted before or after it is glued on, always over a base coat. Metal or gilding shows up well when you leave the surface under the character dark and lay the color on only from above with a dry brush.
For builders of dioramas, town scenes and display cases who want a legible sign in a scene without drawing and without decals. Working with parts this small calls for tweezers, patience and good light.
Small parts do not belong in the hands of small children. When cutting and sanding plastic, work over a mat and clear the offcuts away, so that they do not stay on the bench.
