A Hataka modeling paint in a light blue-gray shade, listed under the designation HTK-A036.
Responsibility details are not available.
Light blue-gray is a muted tone in which the blue reads only as a hint. On a model it behaves quietly: it does not shout, it stays in the background and shadows and traces of use show up well on it. Judge the color impression from the manufacturer's color chart rather than from a screen, because it is precisely with blue-gray tones that the rendering on a monitor and the dried paint differ most, and the individual shades of gray differ from one another only subtly.
Light blue-gray tones traditionally appear on the undersides of aircraft, where they are meant to dissolve the machine visually against the sky, and also on naval subjects and on kit. They have their uses outside that field too: as a lighter tone when modulating larger areas, as a base under a faded finish, or as an admixture that lightens a darker gray.
One bottle of paint is supplied. Thinner, brushes and airbrushes are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
