Light Blue Su-27/33 – pale camouflage (Mr.Paint)

A light blue shade from the lacquer line of Mr.Paint, one of the tones of the pale camouflage scheme of the Russian Flanker family fighters — the Su-27 and the carrier-borne Su-33. These machines carry a combination of several cool, light blues and grays in a blended (disruptive) pattern. The paint is a solvent-based lacquer supplied ready for spraying, with a fine pigment, good coverage and fast drying to a smooth matte to semi-gloss surface.

Use

• Intended for an airbrush; the paint is ready for direct spraying and usually needs no thinning.
• If needed it is thinned with the lacquer thinner of this brand, not with water.
• Suitable as one of the shades of the pale Su-27 and Su-33 scheme; it combines with the other tones of the Flanker line.
• Apply it in thin coats; for soft transitions spray at lower pressure and from a distance.
• Once dry it forms a firm base for decals and for weathering.

For modelers of the Russian Su-27 and Su-33 fighters who build up the pale camouflage scheme from several tones and who work with an airbrush and lacquer paints. Mr.Paint lacquers are not primarily meant for a brush.
