The light green from the Mr.Paint line is mixed for the camouflage of the MiG-29SMT. Its use is in no way limited to one type of machine, though: similar light green tones appear on a whole range of aircraft of eastern design and on vehicles as well, so the shade will serve wherever the green is to be cool and on the light side. The color can also be used as the lighter tone when shading larger areas, with the center of the panel lightened and the edges left in the base shade.
The MiG-29SMT is the modernized version of the twin-engined MiG-29 fighter with extended capability against ground targets. Its external recognition feature is the enlarged fuselage spine. Machines in this version wear a multicolor camouflage in which the light green is combined with further shades of green and gray. To build such a model you therefore have to allow for several shades side by side and for the transitions between them, whether these are drawn freehand or defined by a mask.
Stir the bottle thoroughly before use, as the pigment settles. Choose the thinner and the thinning ratio as stated by the manufacturer on the packaging; the line has its own dedicated thinner. Apply the paint in several thin coats, since one heavy coat fills in the fine surface detail of the model. Work in a ventilated space and let the finished coat cure properly before you put any varnish or decals on it.
