Light Moss Green is a liquid Modellers World weathering wash in a light green shade. It runs into recesses and engraved lines and creates a cast of moss and damp growth on a model.

A wash is a ready thin glaze that draws itself into gaps, engraved lines and the surroundings of details, where a darker trace is left once it dries. This shade is toned to a light green, so instead of the usual accenting of shadows it adds to a model a cast of moss, damp and organic growth. Unlike a pigment it is a liquid product ready to use, not a loose powder.
Shake the container before use, as the colored component settles to the bottom. Apply the wash on a smooth base, ideally gloss or satin: on a matte surface it will bleed and leave stains. Pick it up with a thin brush and touch the edge of a detail; the rest runs in by itself. Wipe the excess off with a cotton swab moistened with a thinner the product tolerates; check the type of thinner on the label, because the binder differs between weathering ranges and the wrong one can wipe off the paint beneath as well. Finally unify the surface with a matte varnish.
Keep the product out of the reach of children, work in a ventilated room and do not leave brushes to dry in the container.
