A light wood ink from the INK line for the pattern of growth rings, crates, planking and freshly worked timber.
Responsibility details are not available.
A warm light brown tone matching freshly worked timber. Within the ink series it is one of the shades that are not used as an opaque coat but as a translucent layer. That way of working is essential precisely on wood, because the pattern you have prepared on the surface in advance has to stay visible under the paint.
First create a base on the surface in a light ocher tone. Then mark the growth rings into the dried paint with a fine brush in a darker shade and let them dry through. Only then draw this ink over the whole area: the pattern is unified under it and gains depth without disappearing. Several weak coats one after another look more faithful than a single rich one, because real wood does not have the same tone along the whole length of a board.
Modelers building dioramas, ships and interiors where wood appears in quantity. It will also serve on the small wooden parts of figures. Try the procedure on an offcut first, so that you can judge the number of coats that leads to the tone you want. It is good to fix the finished surface with a matte clear coat, otherwise it rubs off easily during handling.
Store out of the reach of children, ventilate the room while working and protect your eyes. Instructions on thinning and on the care of brushes are printed on the packaging.
