The pearl white shade LP-43 from the LP lacquer range, intended mainly for car bodies and smooth gloss surfaces.
Responsibility details are not available.
Pearl white under the designation LP-43. This is not an ordinary white: the coat carries a fine pearl sheen that shifts with the angle of view and the light and gives the surface depth. That is exactly why it suits car bodies, hoods and tanks, that is, places where the surface should be perfectly smooth and where the viewer looks at it up close and from every side.
A pearl shade is merciless to the surface beneath it. Every scratch, fingerprint and unsanded joint will show through, because the gloss finish emphasizes them. Sand the area carefully before spraying, degrease it and lay down a primer. Apply the paint in several thin coats and let them dry between passes; the depth of the pearl grows with the number of passes, whereas one heavy coat kills the effect and easily runs.
Lacquer paints are more aggressive to plastic than water-thinnable ones, so spray carefully on bare plastic and preferably over a primer. With thin parts and clear parts this goes double.
The paint is supplied on its own. Thinner, primer, final clear coat and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
