Responsibility details are not available.
Shade LP-80 Flat Yellow, that is, matte yellow, from Tamiya's LP paint line. A matte finish means the dried surface returns no gloss and looks flat, which matches ordinary coatings on equipment and machinery. Choose the thinner and mixing ratio per the manufacturer's instructions on the package, or use thinner made for this line.
Yellow appears on models mainly as a warning and distinguishing color. It suits construction and handling machinery, stripes and markings on airfield surfaces, leading edges and recognition bands on aircraft, fire and rescue equipment, and small items such as transport carts and lifting eyes. In matte form it takes subsequent shadow and wear highlighting well.
Shake the bottle thoroughly before use, so settled pigment disperses again. Yellow is among the shades that cover poorly, so apply it in several thin coats over a light base. Yellow applied directly onto a dark area only reaches the needed saturation after many coats, which fills in detail. Let the surface dry between coats.
The paint suits vehicle and aircraft models, dioramas, and small scene accessories alike. A matte surface works well with pigments and oil paints during subsequent weathering, since it is slightly absorbent and the shade does not slide off it. If you need a smooth surface under a decal, overcoat the spot with a gloss varnish. The model, thinner and application tools are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
