The plastic kit MAILeS Byakuchi from the Japanese brand Bandai in the color version designated F.G.E. Color. MAILeS is the designation of a class of piloted combat machines from the world of Kyoukai Senki, to which a whole group of models belongs. The parts are injection-molded from plastic colored right through and snap together, so the build manages without glue.
MAILeS class machines are conceived in the subject material as mass-production military equipment rather than as a unique hero robot. Their appearance matches that: angular armor panels, visible joints and austere colors. The suffix in the name denotes a color version of the same machine, which with this line is the usual way the manufacturer offers variants of one design.
Separate the parts with modeling nippers a little away from the part and finish the rest of the gate with a knife or a fine file, so that no light mark is left on the colored plastic. Assembly requires neither glue nor paints. If you want to go further, break the model down into subassemblies, degrease them, use a base suited to plastic and spray them section by section. Machines with a military treatment suit panel lines, light edge chipping and a matte varnish to knock the sheen off the raw plastic.
The model is assembled by snapping pre-colored parts together. Glue and paints are not needed for the build, and painting is optional.
