About product

Fine Art hand drill 0 to 0.6 mm

A precision hand drilling tool operated with the fingers. It serves for drilling very fine holes, which in modeling are needed for example for pins, wire, barrels, the attachment of details or the fitting of photo-etched parts. The range up to a diameter of 0.6 mm covers the thinnest drill bits, with which an ordinary drill would risk breaking them. Working by hand gives full control over the depth as well as the direction.

Use

  • Drilling fine holes for pins, wire and brass barrels.
  • Fitting photo-etched and resin details.
  • Opening up the bores of weapons and vents on figures and equipment.
  • Turning with the fingers for maximum control with no risk of breaking the bit.

Who it is for

For modelers who detail kits and need precise fine holes. It will be appreciated above all by those who work with aftermarket accessories and superdetailing.

The drill bits are fragile and sharp. Drill slowly with light pressure and protect your eyes and fingers.

FAQ

For drilling fine holes for pins, wire, barrels and the attachment of photo-etched or resin details.

With the thinnest bits, guiding by hand gives control and spares them from the breaking that threatens at high speeds.

That does not follow unambiguously from the name; the tool is intended for drill bits in the range up to 0.6 mm.
