Mat Adhesive, glue for grass mats (Woodland Scenics)

Mat Adhesive is a modeling glue developed for laying finished grass mats. It is not a paint and not a scatter but a binder, which joins a vinyl mat to a base reliably without the material warping or hardening. You will use it on a plaster shell, on foam terrain, on a wooden board and on firm cardboard.

Use

• Rid the base of dust and grease and let it dry out completely.
• Apply the glue evenly with a brush or a spatula in a thin layer.
• Lay the mat from the middle to the edges and smooth it as you go, so that air bubbles do not arise.
• Press the hills and hollows down and weight the edges until the glue has become tacky.
• Wipe the excess off with a damp cloth before it dries.
• Close the container carefully after the work, so that the content does not dry out.

For layout modelers and builders of dioramas who work with finished grass mats and want to fix them permanently and without waves. It will be appreciated by makers of exhibition modules and scenic bases for photographing models too, where a surface is carried about often and stressed mechanically. On broken terrain it holds a mat better than universal office glues, which tend to be too watery or, on the contrary, grow brittle.

Keep out of the reach of children, work in a well-ventilated room and prevent contact with the eyes. Before use on a valuable model, try the glue on a small piece of the material.
