About product

Model Craft Maun safety ruler 300 mm (12 inches)

A steel safety ruler from the Model Craft range, made as the Maun type. It is 300 mm (12 inches) long and has the characteristic M-shaped section, thanks to which your fingers stay a safe distance from the edge of a knife. It is therefore ideal for cutting and scoring with a scalpel, a sharp knife or a rotary cutter. Stainless steel ensures a long life without corrosion.

Use

  • Guiding a scalpel or a knife along the ruler for accurate cutting of card, paper and film
  • Scoring and cutting fold lines
  • Work with a rotary cutter
  • Safe measuring and laying out with the fingers protected

Who it is for

For modelers, hobbyists and school and art settings where a great deal of cutting is done along a ruler. The protective section will be appreciated above all by anyone working with sharp blades.

The raised section protects your fingers, but even so guide the blade carefully and away from your body. Keep out of the reach of children.

FAQ

It has a raised M-shaped section that the hand rests against. The fingers therefore stay a safe distance from the blade guided along the edge of the ruler.

It measures 300 mm, that is 12 inches, and carries both a metric and an imperial scale. It is made of stainless steel, so it does not corrode and lasts a long time.

For cutting and scoring card, paper and film with a scalpel, a sharp knife or a rotary cutter, and for safe measuring and laying out.
