A round gaming base 100 mm in diameter from Green Stuff World. It is a footing for a model on the gaming table: it carries the model, brings its height into line with the rest of a collection and above all marks out the area it occupies during a session.
Ten centimeters across is a size that is noticed on a playing surface at once. The model stops fitting between terrain features that smaller figures have no trouble with, and when planning a route you have to allow for it getting through only wide passages. At the same time the opposite of what is often expected applies: a large base behaves favorably in measuring, because distance is as a rule taken from the nearest edge, and with a circle one hundred millimeters across that edge is equally far from the center in every direction. The model therefore reaches further than the position of its figure would suggest. The circular shape also spares players any argument about facing, because the area occupied is the same at every angle.
For owners of the largest models in a collection, for dominant monsters and machines, and for collectors who want one uniform round format under them. It also serves well as the footing for a small scene with a single striking figure in the middle.
