Watermelons from the manufacturer JTT is a set of six finished watermelon plants including foliage and fruit, about 4.5 cm in size. It serves to bring a garden, a field or a yard on a diorama and on a model railroad to life.

The package contains six complete watermelon plants with foliage and fruit. The plants are finished and painted, so they can be used practically at once; it is not a kit or a semi-finished product that would have to be put together. A size of around 4.5 cm matches a sprawling trailing plant in H0 scale, that is, 1:87. They can also be used on scenes in nearby scales, where they will serve as a vegetable bed or the edge of a field.
Drill or pierce a hole in the base to suit the stem and glue the plant into it. On plaster, polystyrene and wood PVA glue (white glue) has proved itself, and on smooth surfaces a drop of cyanoacrylate glue. Then scatter fine sand or sifted soil around, so that the transition to the terrain does not look sharp. Do not plant them in a regular grid; small deviations in the spacing and in the lean of the stems look more believable. They can be fine-tuned in color with a light dry brush, with which you accent the fruit and the upper leaves.
For railroad modelers in H0 scale, for makers of dioramas with figures and machinery alike and for anyone who needs finished vegetation and does not want to make it laboriously. Six plants in the package are enough for a smaller bed; for a continuous field it is sensible to count on more pieces.
These are decorative modeling accessories with small parts. They are not toys and do not belong in the hands of small children.
