Eduard Mesh 6x6 Hexagonal

A universal photo-etched metal plate from the Czech brand Eduard with a hexagonal, honeycomb structure of the mesh. Compared with the coarser 4x4 rendering, this variant has a finer and denser honeycomb grid, so it imitates smaller honeycomb grilles and screens. It is not a model or a set for one kit but a raw material from which you cut the shape you need. The metal is thin and yet holds its shape, and it is easy to cut and to glue. A fine honeycomb grid suits the places where a grille is meant to be small and still distinct, and it replaces a coarsely molded plastic screen with a convincing metal detail. Thanks to the universality of the material, from one plate you will use several parts for different models.

Use

• Fine honeycomb grilles, radiators and venting surfaces.
• Perforated covers, filters and protective panels with a honeycomb pattern.
• Cut it exactly to fit the opening with scissors or a sharp knife.
• Glue it with super glue, and level it with a flat object if needed.
• Degrease it before painting and apply a primer.

Who the material is for

Intended for more advanced modelers and scratch builders who want a fine hexagonal, honeycomb grid. The material is universal across scales and subjects and is not tied to a particular kit.
