Eduard Mesh - gauze/ Rhomb type 1 6x6

This version of the universal photo-etched sheet from the Czech brand Eduard has diamond-shaped (rhombic) openings, so the pattern reads diagonally, like a fine gauze. It is not a model or a set for one particular kit, but a raw modeling material from which you cut the part you need. The diagonal structure suits anywhere you want a different look from the classic square grille. The metal is thin and yet holds its shape, and it cuts and glues well. The diamond pattern gives a surface a different character from an ordinary rectangular grille, so you can choose the look to suit the particular subject and scale. The material is a good replacement for coarsely molded plastic screens and refines the overall impression of a finished model.

Use

• Cooling and protective grilles with a bolder, diagonal pattern.
• Screens, filters and covers with a fine gauze structure.
• Cut it with scissors or a knife, exactly to the shape of the opening.
• Glue it with super glue; to keep it flat, apply gentle pressure with a flat object.
• Degrease it before painting and apply a primer so that the paint adheres better.
