A one-part modeling putty in a white finish for seams, grooves and small surface flaws. It is applied straight from the container and sanded once dry.
Responsibility details are not available.
White modeling putty deals with the places that did not stay smooth after gluing and sanding: the seam between fuselage halves, the gap at a wing root, a groove left by coarser paper or a pushed-in depression in the surface. It is a one-part putty, so it is not mixed with a hardener and is taken straight from the container.
Degrease the surface and remove dust from it first, otherwise the putty will not hold. Apply it with a spatula or a flat blade, and rather in two passes than in one heavy layer, which dries only on the surface and tears while being sanded. Let the putty dry between layers; the exact time and the suitable cleaner for the tools are stated by the manufacturer on the package. Once hardened, sand the spot with fine paper until the transition can only be guessed at by touch. Anyone filling a seam on a curved surface will appreciate backing the paper with a flexible pad, which keeps the shape of the part.
White putty suits places where light plastic is being worked and where a darker compound would show through a light topcoat. Checking the sanding is harder to read than with the gray finish, so it is worth passing a thin layer of primer over the area and only then judging whether the filled spot is level.
The package contains the putty. A spatula, sanding paper, primer and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
