The second part of the Portuguese range captures more modern equipment. A trio of brown and green tones with a lower gray belongs to helicopters and ground-attack machines, three further grays cover the F-16 aircraft and the last tone the patrol and naval machines.

Where the first part of the range stopped at the colonial period, this one carries on to the present. The eight bottles are divided into three clearly separated groups and each matches a different circle of machines.
The largest group is made up of the quartet for the camouflage with the dark brown. Dark Tan (FS30219), Dark Green (FS34079) and Medium Green (FS34102) covered the upper surfaces, and the underside received Camouflage Grey (FS36622). This pattern was carried by the Fiat G.91 aircraft in the R3 and R4 versions, the ground-attack A-7P, the Alpha Jet trainers, the SA 330 Puma helicopters, the light Alouette and finally the heavy AW101 as well. With the lower gray the source specifies that it concerned the first twenty examples of the A-7P.
The second group is made up of the classic three-color gray scheme of fighters. Light Ghost Grey (FS36375) belongs on the lower surfaces, Gunship Grey (FS36118) on the upper ones and Grey (FS36270) on the upper and side areas. Portugal uses it on its F-16 in the AM and BM versions after upgrading. The eighth shade, Light Gull Grey (FS36440), stands on its own: it is the overall color of the P-3C Orion patrol aircraft taken over from the Netherlands and also of the Super Lynx Mk 95 naval helicopters.
The shades overlap with the first part only in part, so anyone building Portuguese equipment across the periods will use both boxes side by side. It pays off most with the Fiat G.91, which went through several guises in Portuguese service and appears in the lists of both parts, each time, however, with a different layout of surfaces.
