Kabuki masking tape 48 mm wide with a roll 50 m long. It is stuck onto the areas that are to stay unsprayed, and only then is the paint applied. The wide roll covers a larger area without laying strips side by side, and at the same time it serves as a stock of material from which you cut exactly the strip you happen to need.
Cut the strips with a sharp blade on a cutting mat so that they have a clean edge; a frayed edge shows under the paint. Wash and degrease the surface of the model before sticking the tape down, otherwise it will not hold. Press the edge that will be sprayed over down carefully with a toothpick or the blunt side of a pair of tweezers, so that paint does not creep under it. Apply the paint in several thin coats. Then peel the tape off slowly and at a sharp angle, pulling backward, before the paint is fully cured.
The tape is not tied to a scale or to a particular kit, so it suits aircraft, vehicles and cars alike. It comes into its own on divided camouflage, on canopy frames and everywhere two colors meet on a sharp edge.
The package holds tape in the stated width and roll length. Paints, thinner and the model are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
