Haze Grey (FS 36270) is a modeling paint by Mr.Paint, a water-thinnable acrylic from the Aqua line, not a kit. It is a gray from the palette of modern American jet aircraft, which the manufacturer lists among its aviation shades.

A modeling paint, not a kit. The shade comes from the Aqua acrylic line of the Slovak maker Mr.Paint. Unlike his well-known lacquer line, this acrylic is thinned with water (or with the acrylic thinner of the same brand), is practically odorless and can be applied with a brush as well as an airbrush. A dropper bottle; the manufacturer states 17 ml.
The designation Haze Grey is used in modeling in two completely different worlds, which is why it gets confused. Mr.Paint places this shade among the aviation grays: in the manufacturer's catalog it stands in the line of American aviation colors next to Light Gull Grey, Medium Grey and Gunship Grey. So it is the gray of modern jet aircraft, part of low-visibility gray schemes, not a ship hull color. The code FS 36270 belongs to the American federal standard; the first digit 3 in it means a matte finish.
Both are American aviation grays, but Haze Grey (FS 36270) is markedly lighter, while Gunship Grey (FS 36118) is a dark gray. In two-tone modern schemes they often meet side by side, so do not mix them up when buying, or the whole aircraft will come out too dark or, conversely, washed out.
For modelers of modern jet aircraft who want an accurate gray to an FS code without mixing, and for anyone looking for an acrylic with a noticeably lower odor than lacquer paints have.
Airbrush in a ventilated space and do not inhale the atomized paint. Store at room temperature, protect from frost and keep out of the reach of children.
