What the set is suited to

Rubble tends to be the largest continuous area on a diorama and it decides the overall impression of the scene. When it is all one color, the whole build looks artificial. It comes into its own on scenic structures as well as on the equipment that the dust of the scene covers.

Recommended procedure

• Work from the lighter tones toward the darker ones, adding more is always possible and taking it away considerably harder.
• Apply the paints unevenly, rubble is nowhere uniform.
• Test on an area that will not be seen, because the tone shifts once it has dried.
• Stir the contents of the bottle before use, the pigment settles to the bottom.
• Handle thinning and cleaning according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging.
