Use

• Try a new or freshly sharpened edge on an offcut of sprue, not straight on a part.
• Finish trimmed filler with abrasive paper and water; the knife is only meant to prepare the line.
• When cleaning up a parting line, guide the blade almost flat and scrape the plastic rather than cut it.
• Always put the knife down edge away from you, ideally in a stand or back in its protective cap.
• Never hold small parts in your fingers; rest them on the mat or hold them with tweezers.
