Amazing Art replacement blades No. 11 are the classic pointed blades, the most used shape in modeling. The package holds ten pieces for ordinary scalpels and modeling knives.
Responsibility details are not available.
The most common modeling blade in the range of the Amazing Art brand: a straight edge finished with a long sharp point. The No. 11 manages both a cut and a piercing stab, which is why it tends to be the first choice for ordinary work on a kit. The number 11 is stamped in the metal and the package holds ten pieces. The point is slender, so it snaps easily when used for prying, which is worth keeping in mind.
For anyone who builds plastic models and uses a scalpel or a modeling knife with a replaceable blade. The No. 11 is the all-rounder to start with, and its consumption is the highest of all the shapes, so a stock of ten pieces makes sense. Push the blade into the cut along the line, not across it, and when cutting a sprue gate off, rather draw it lightly several times than cut through at once: the plastic will otherwise break away with a piece of the part. Save the point for detail and leave rough work to stronger shapes. After fitting a new blade, try the cut on a cut-off piece of sprue, so you know how much pressure it really needs.
Safety note: the point is very sharp and springs away when it snaps. Change the blade with the knife put down, do not pick fragments up with your fingers and keep the package out of the reach of children.
