Graupner tautening dope, black, 100 ml — a tautening dope for the covering of flying models in a contrasting black shade. It tautens, stiffens and colors in one step.
Responsibility details are not available.
The black version of the tautening dope from the German brand Graupner in a 100 ml container. Tautening dope is not an ordinary modeling paint: it belongs to the classic construction of flying models, where it draws the paper or fabric covering taut as it dries, stiffens it and in this version colors it straight away in a deep black.
A black covering is a striking choice for aerobatic and sport aircraft, for prominent wing undersides or for contrasting fields that make the attitude of the model instantly readable in flight. It also works superbly on smaller areas such as outlines, wing tips or tail surfaces, in combination with lighter shades of tautening dope.
For modelers building free flight and RC flying models of classic construction with paper or fabric covering, and for repairs to older aircraft. Black is also a practical stock item for the workshop, as contrasting trim comes in useful on almost every model.
A flammable product. Work in a well ventilated space, away from sources of fire and out of reach of children. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging.
