Mr.Paint NATO Green BS285

This is a modeling lacquer on a solvent base, not a water-thinnable acrylic. The shade matches the British Standard BS 285 (NATO Green), a dark green from the modern military palette. The paint has a semi-gloss (satin) surface and is mixed to a consistency for an airbrush.

Use

  • Intended purely for spraying with an airbrush, not for a brush.
  • It sprays from the bottle practically without thinning; if necessary it can be thinned with the lacquer thinner of the same line.
  • It dries quickly to a thin and durable film with good covering power.
  • Do not thin it with water or with acrylic or enamel thinners.

For modelers of modern military vehicles and aircraft who work with an airbrush and want precise, thin coats with a firm lacquer surface.

A solvent-based lacquer: flammable, with irritating vapors. Use a respirator, extraction and good ventilation, and keep it away from children and open flame.
