The Neko Galaxy - Santa Bomba 1:10 collector's bust is part of the range of the Spanish label Green Stuff World, which publishes sculpting series by independent studios. The bust belongs to the Neko Galaxy range, whose other pieces all appear in the 1:10 ratio, so they match one another in size within a collection.
On busts the ratio refers to a real person and it is a statement about the format, not the scale of a model of an aircraft or a vehicle. The 1:10 format is one of the most widespread for collector's busts precisely because it offers enough surface for modeling the face, hair and surface textures. On it the modeler works with soft transitions, shading and fine differences in shade that do not read on a small figure.
Neko Galaxy covers a larger number of busts with the same ratio, so a collection can be built up gradually and the pieces displayed side by side without jumps in size. The bust is a standalone display object that needs no surrounding scene and no extra elements. A shelf or a display case is enough, and it looks best under soft side lighting, which brings out the volume of the face.
