OCEAN GREY FS36173

Mr.Paint Ocean Grey FS 36173 (30 ml)

A lacquer (solvent-based) modeling paint from Mr.Paint in a darker gray to the FS 36173 standard. The paint has a thin consistency ready for spraying and is intended for airbrush application only; it is not suitable for a brush. The FS 36173 shade is a more saturated, dark gray tone (often described as a gunship gray) used in modern American low-visibility schemes, usually on upper surfaces or in combination with lighter gray shades. The package holds 30 ml.

Use

• apply it with an airbrush in several thin coats, ideally over a primer
• the paint has excellent coverage, fast drying and a satin to semi-matte look
• if thinning is needed, use the thinner from the same manufacturer (Mr. Thinner)
• shake the container well before use
• clean the tools and the airbrush after the work with a suitable cleaner for lacquer paints

Who it is for

For modelers with an airbrush who build modern American combat aircraft and need the accurate darker gray FS 36173 tone for low-visibility camouflage. Suitable for advanced and experienced builders working with solvent-based (lacquer) paints.

A solvent-based (lacquer) paint, flammable. Apply it only with an airbrush in a well ventilated space, away from sources of flame and sparks, with protection for your airways. Keep out of reach of children.
