An olive green with a designation to the Czechoslovak standard CSN 5220. It is a subdued green shifted toward brown without any marked gloss, that is, a typical military color that is not supposed to draw attention on a model but to form a base for shading and dirtying. The shade looks different over a large area than it does in the bottle, so spray a test patch on an offcut of plastic first and judge it in daylight.
The paint is aimed at the airbrush. Stir the contents thoroughly before work, so that the pigment settled at the bottom is dispersed. Spray in several thin coats and let them set in between; one heavy coat drowns the engraving and emphasizes every unevenness of the base. Choose the thinner and the cleaner from the same range and flush the airbrush right after work, because dried pigment is considerably harder to remove. Check mixing with paints of other manufacturers on an offcut first.
Let the coat dry properly before masking and then peel the tape off slowly and at a shallow angle, or it will tear the paint off along with the base. Under decals an intermediate coat of gloss varnish works well, and once the decals have settled the gloss is evened out with a final matte varnish. Do the dirtying and the panel shading only over paint that has set.
The package contains the paint. Thinner, an airbrush, brushes and other aids are not included, unless stated otherwise. Work in a well-ventilated room, protect your airways and store the paint tightly closed and out of the reach of children.
