OPTION ARMOR FOR SPECIAL SQUD [PORTANOVA / LIGHT BLUE] (Gundam 85336P)

The set

A set of add-on armor for the robot machine designated Portanova, in a light blue color variant. The term option armor is used in this field for parts that are added to a base machine and change both its look and its equipment; a builder thus gets a markedly different-looking model from a single basis. It is an item for models from the Gundam world.

What the set contains

According to the name these are add-on armor parts in the stated color variant; the number in brackets is the manufacturer's catalog designation, by which the item can be found reliably. The exact contents are therefore not stated here.

Building tips

Separate the parts with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder back carefully, so that the crisp edges are preserved; on armor parts they are clearly visible. Wash and degrease the surfaces before painting, otherwise the paint will not hold on the smooth surface. The light blue finish is given in the name itself as the color variant of the set; whether the parts still need painting is given in the instructions from the manufacturer. If you do paint, work in thin coats so that the fine edges and moldings are not lost.

Who it is for

For builders of models from the Gundam world who want to add armor parts to a base machine or change the color balance of a build. Paints, glue and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise; whether the package also contains the base model of the machine is not stated here.
