This is modeling equipment, not a kit. The package holds brushes meant for applying paint by hand to plastic models, vehicles and figures, complemented by a mixing palette. On the palette you stir the paint, thin it to the consistency you need or mix a shade of your own, without having to reach into the bottle itself. The set therefore covers the typical hand-work part of a build, where an airbrush makes no sense or cannot reach a detail.
Keep acrylic paints on a brush for as short a time as you can and rinse the brush as you go, so that paint does not dry at the ferrule, because that is where a brush is most often ruined. After enamels and lacquers, clean the brushes with the matching thinner rather than with water. Let the palette dry after work and peel the dried acrylic film off, or wipe it with a thinner matching the chemistry used. For a covering coat on a larger part, choose a flat brush and thin paint in two coats rather than one heavy one.
