PANZERDIVISIONEN

Panzerdivisionen, a publication from the Abteilung 502 imprint

This item is a book, not a modeling product to be built. Abteilung 502 is a book imprint associated with the modeling chemicals maker AK Interactive, and it publishes illustrated reference titles for modelers, typically in a large format and with the emphasis on photographs. The title deals with German armored units of the Second World War, that is with the vehicles, their markings and their appearance, which are among the most frequently built subjects in 1:35 scale.

What the book offers

• a coherent view of the subject of German armored units, worked out for modelers
• photographic material as a basis for choosing the finish, the markings and the degree of wear on vehicles
• the vehicles set in the context of the organization and armament of the units
• reference material usable across scales, not just for one particular kit

Who the book is for

The publication suits modelers who build armored vehicles and want a basis for deciding which finish and markings to use on a model, as well as collectors of reference modeling literature. Builders of dioramas will also make use of it, as for them a convincing setting for a vehicle matters as much as the model itself. Given its extent and format it is a reference title you come back to over several projects, not a guide to one model.

This is a printed publication, not a kit. We recommend checking the language edition before ordering, because titles in this series are usually published in a foreign language.
