U-STAR Pen Knife Ceramic is a modeling knife in a pen-shaped design with a ceramic blade, which does not corrode and holds its edge longer than steel.

A cutting tool in the shape of a pen fitted with a ceramic blade. Ceramic differs from steel in two things a modeler will appreciate: it does not corrode, so neither damp nor the remains of thinners will ruin it, and it holds its edge markedly longer, because it does not blunt as quickly as a thin steel blade. It moreover leaves no metal marks on a surface, which comes in useful when working with light plastic and with transparent parts.
Ceramic is hard but more brittle than steel. Lead the knife in a pulling stroke, therefore, do not lever with it and do not use it as a screwdriver or a pry bar, because under a sideways load the blade can crack. The pen shape invites a firm grip close to the point, which is right: the shorter the part of the blade beyond your fingers, the better the control you have over the cut. After work, wipe the blade and store the knife so that the point rests against nothing.
For modelers who do a lot of scraping and cleaning up and do not want to change steel blades constantly, and for everyone who works with transparent or light parts, on which metal rub marks show.
This is a sharp tool. Cut away from your body, use a cutting mat and store the knife out of reach of children. Do not go on using a cracked blade.
