About product

AMMO Photoetched Holder — a holder for photo-etched parts

AMMO Photoetched Holder is an auxiliary tool from AMMO intended to hold photo-etched parts and frets during work. The holder is made of stainless steel, the sprung jaws grip the part firmly and the adjustable arms let you find a comfortable working position. You can work on tiny photo-etched parts without having to touch them with your fingers.

Use

  • A firm grip on a photo-etched part while bending it to shape
  • Holding a part during cutting, sanding and cleaning up
  • Fixing small components while gluing, filling and painting
  • Safer soldering of two photo-etched parts thanks to the distance from the hot tip

Who it is for

The holder will be appreciated by modelers who work with photo-etched sets and accessories: it makes handling small, thin, awkward parts easier and makes the work more precise. It suits plastic modelers and builders of dioramas and figures alike.

The tool has sprung jaws and metal edges, so use it with care and keep it out of the reach of children. Observe the usual safety precautions when soldering.
