A resin kit part from MAiM out of the modular tube system for building pipe runs in a diorama. This piece is a long connector of the IN-OUT design, that is with an internal end on one side and an external one on the other, used to join two consecutive pipe sections. The part is compatible with ordinary plastic (styrene) tubes of the matching diameter and rounds out the straight sections, bends and end caps in the range. It is not a figure or a model of equipment but a scenic accessory. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The connector joins two pipe sections and allows a part with an internal end to continue into a part with an external end. The long design bridges a greater gap and gives the run a realistic joint with a collar. With ordinary plastic tubes and the other parts of the system you can extend the run as you like and adapt it to your scene.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, clean up the seam lines and bond them with super glue. Apply a primer before painting. Bring the metal out in gray, green or rust as you intend, and on the edges add chipping, traces of rust and a wash to pick out the joints and the flanges.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, plastic tubes and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
