A resin kit part from MAiM out of the modular tube system for building pipe runs in a diorama. This piece is an end cap with which the end of a pipe is closed off. The part is compatible with ordinary plastic (styrene) tubes of the matching diameter and rounds out the straight sections, bends and connectors in the range. It is not a figure or a model of equipment but a scenic accessory. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
An end cap gives a pipe run a realistic finish and looks convincing in a factory, industrial or post-apocalyptic scene. It closes the end of a tube where the run finishes at a wall, a tank or a machine and keeps the viewer from looking into an empty tube. Thanks to the compatibility with ordinary plastic tubes you can fit it to the end of any section.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, clean up the seam lines and bond them with super glue. Apply a primer before painting. Bring the metal out in gray, green or rust as you intend, and on the edges add chipping, traces of rust and a wash to pick out the joints and the flanges.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, plastic tubes and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
