A resin kit part from MAiM out of the modular tube system for building pipe runs in a diorama. This piece is a long straight pipe section. The part is compatible with ordinary plastic (styrene) tubes of the matching diameter and rounds out the bends, connectors and end caps in the range. It is not a figure or a model of equipment but a scenic accessory. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
A straight section is the backbone of every pipe run. A long part covers a greater distance without needless joints and suits leading pipework along walls, between tanks or across a site. With ordinary plastic tubes and the other parts of the system you can extend the run and round it out with turns and branches.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, clean up the seam lines and bond them with super glue. Apply a primer before painting. Bring the metal out in gray, green or rust as you intend, and on the edges add chipping, traces of rust and a wash to pick out the joints and the flanges.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, plastic tubes and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
