Pisek is a water-based pigment paste from the Czech maker Sira Hobby, without smell. The light sandy shade suits a dry, dusty environment: desert and sandy deposits on chassis, fenders and hull bottoms, and pressed into the tread of tracks. It is a water-thinnable patina rather than a dry powder, so it is clean to work with and no pigment flies about.
