PLA Cool Blue White: AK Interactive acrylic paint, 17 ml

This is an acrylic modeling paint from the AFV range of the Spanish brand AK Interactive, supplied in a bottle of 17 ml. The abbreviation PLA in the name refers to the Chinese army, and this shade belongs among the additional tones developed for modern Chinese vehicles, specifically for the light, cool areas of digital camouflage of the kind seen on marine and airborne units. It is not a pure white: it has a noticeable blue cast, so on the model it reads as cool and does not burn out into a chalky, flat surface.

The paint is water-thinnable, has no odor and contains no aggressive solvents. The pigmentation is dense, yet with light tones it still holds true that several thin coats give a cleaner and more even result than one heavy one. Over a dark surface a light primer is worth using, as it saves both material and the detail of the engraved lines.

Use and thinning
