A base gives a figure a firm stance and a uniform outline. In a game that is a practical thing: figures on identical bases can be lined up in a row, distance is easily measured from them, and when moving, the figure is picked up by its base rather than by the painted model. Uniform bases also calm the look of a whole formation, even when the figures come from different manufacturers.
It is a square shape of 20 x 20 mm, that is a small base for a single infantry figure of smaller stature. For larger pieces the same range is made in 40 x 40 and 50 x 50 mm, so a whole army can be put on one type of base and differ only in size. The material is plastic, which means low weight and easy working.
The number of pieces in the package is stated on the box. Figures, paints, glue and terrain material are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
