This is raw material for building, not a kit and not a finished accessory. The package holds smooth plastic sheets 0.3 mm thick in black. Thin sheet of this thickness is the basic raw material of scratch building: from it you can make bulkheads, covers, sheet metal patches, floors, a sign, interior walls or a new panel in place of a damaged part from the kit.
A thickness of 0.3 mm is a compromise between formability and strength. The material can still be bent over an edge and shaped slightly after warming, but on its own it holds its shape and does not ripple. It is cut by the score-and-snap method: draw a scalpel or a cutter along a steel rule several times and then snap the sheet over the edge of the table. It is bonded with ordinary polystyrene cement, which truly welds the joint, so a firm connection is made without a visible seam. Sand the cut edges with fine sandpaper. The black color has a practical advantage: on interiors and shadows you do not have to cover the base so carefully, and any scuffed edges do not show up white.
It suits anyone who modifies or converts models or builds parts themselves. More experienced modelers keep it permanently on hand; for beginners it does good service for repairs. The dimensions of the sheets and how many are in the package are not stated here, the same as with the sister item in the version marked as large.
The material is supplied unpainted. Glue, paints and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
