PLW DARK SEA BLUE

AMMO PLW Dark Sea Blue (panel line wash)

Panel Line Wash Dark Sea Blue from AMMO of Mig Jimenez is a ready-mixed enamel (solvent-based) panel line wash. Its thin consistency lets it run by capillary action into engraved panel lines and recesses, where it accentuates the detail once dry and creates subtle shadows. The dark blue shade is tuned for US Second World War aircraft in the Pacific, that is machines in dark blue paint such as the Corsair or the Hellcat, and it also suits ships and sci-fi subjects in blue. It comes in a bottle of about 35 ml, ready to use.

Use

• Applied with a brush straight into panel lines and details, where it runs on its own
• Once it has become tacky, the excess is wiped off with a clean brush moistened in enamel thinner
• It works best on a smooth, semi-gloss or clear-coated surface
• Thinned and cleaned with enamel thinner (mineral spirits), never with water

Who it is for

For modelers of aircraft in dark blue naval schemes, of ships and of sci-fi subjects who want to accentuate panel lines cleanly. The ready-mixed liquid saves you the mixing.

Enamel preparation containing solvents: flammable, use in a well-ventilated area and keep away from children.
