FAQ

PLW je zkratka pro Panel Line Wash, tedy wash určený na panelové linie. Je to velmi řídká barva, která se kapilárně rozeběhne do rytých linií, spár a prohlubní a po setření přebytku zvýrazní členění povrchu modelu.

Neutrálně hnědý odstín je univerzálnější a přirozenější. Čistá černá bývá na většině předloh příliš tvrdá a kontrastní, kdežto hnědá připomíná skutečnou nasáklou špínu a usazený prach a lépe sedí k zeleným, hnědým i civilním odstínům.

Lahvičku důkladně promíchejte. Aplikujte na vytvrzený lesklý lak, tenkým štětcem se dotkněte linie a nechte wash zatéct. Po zavadnutí přebytek setřete hadříkem, vatovou tyčinkou nebo štětcem navlhčeným v ředidle bez zápachu či lakovém benzínu. Postupujte ve vrstvách.

Na lesklém, vytvrzeném povrchu wash čistě steče do linií a přebytek jde setřít beze zbytku, bez skvrn a map. Na matném povrchu se wash zachytává v mikrostruktuře a zanechává nechtěné šmouhy.
