Pointed tweezers with straight jaws and a length of 11 cm, as the box states. An eleven-centimeter body is shorter than on the usual twelve to fourteen centimeter tweezers, which shortens the lever between the fingers and the tip. The hand thus gains more control, but such tweezers are not built for greater pressure. They belong among the tools that should lie permanently at hand on the bench: neither gluing small parts nor moving a decal into the right place can be done without tweezers. The tips must meet along the whole length of the mating face. Once they spread apart, a small part starts slipping out of them - so never use the tweezers for prying. Wipe glue off the tips while it is still wet and leave the tips free before storing, not squeezed shut with a rubber band.
