Modeling tweezers from the Chameleon range, 12.5 centimeters long. They are among the basic tools on every modeler's bench - without decent tweezers there is no sensible way to work with small plastic parts, photo-etched components, decals or the small items for a diorama. The shorter 12.5 cm version sits well in the hand and suits work calling for higher precision in a small area; the longer variant in the same range is better where you need to reach deeper into an assembled structure.

Use

• Holding a part while gluing with cyanoacrylate glue, so that it does not stick to your fingers.

Who it is for

For every modeler from beginner to advanced who builds kits, glues photo-etch or works with decals. We recommend keeping several pairs of tweezers of different shapes and lengths on the bench - one universal pair for everything is not enough. Tweezers are also one of the tools where it does not pay to cut corners: poorly made pairs with tips that do not meet will fire a part into the carpet, and hunting for a small part takes more time than a whole evening of building.

In practice it works well to keep each pair of tweezers reserved for a different job - one clean pair for decals and photo-etch, a second for gluing, where you accept that glue and paint will settle on the tips. That way you will keep the finest tips in condition considerably longer.

The tips of the tweezers are sharp; put them away out of the reach of children and do not use them as a lever or on hard material - tips that have been bent or sprung apart can no longer be reliably straightened.
