A product that raises the adhesion of Tamiya super glue on polypropylene, polyethylene and polyacetal, in a 10 ml bottle with a brush.
Responsibility details are not available.
Polypropylene, polyethylene and polyacetal have such low surface energy that super glue literally slides off them. The joint either does not hold at all or falls apart at the first load. And you meet these plastics more often than you would think: they are used for gears, bearing bushes, flexible bands, parts of kits for vehicles and pieces of packaging that a modeler is glad to turn into an accessory for a scene.
Apply the product with the brush in the cap to both surfaces to be joined and let it flash off until dry. Only then does the super glue itself come into play. The surface has to be dry and free of grease, otherwise the coat will not take. Work in a room with fume extraction and close the bottle carefully after use, so that the contents do not evaporate.
The package holds a 10 ml bottle whose cap has a brush inside, so there is no measuring or decanting. The manufacturer also recommends the product for reworking models for track layouts and for kits meant for teaching. Super glue is not part of the delivery and is bought separately; the product itself does not glue, it only prepares the surface.
Apply it only where you really will be joining; spread over the whole surface it can leave a dull mark on some plastics. Try the effect first on an offcut from the same part. Do not leave the cap open longer than necessary, as the contents thicken. Store in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children, and do not mix with other chemical products.
