A flat profile 0.75 x 4.8 mm, supplied as a 35 cm length. One piece is one whole length.
Responsibility details are not available.
Just under a millimeter of thickness against nearly five millimeters of width makes this profile more of a narrow sheet than a strip. That is exactly why it suits cover plates, box lids, the sides of ramps, cab wall paneling, signs and plates, and also flat ribs glued in from the inside of large parts, where thicker material would show through a thin wall.
Thickness 0.75 millimeter, width 4.8 millimeters, length of the strip 35 centimeters. You order one piece and receive the whole length stated.
Flat parts readily copy any unevenness in the surface underneath, so check before gluing that the surface really is flat. The easiest way to take off surplus width is to lay the profile on a cutting mat, set a metal ruler against it and run a knife along it lightly several times before snapping the material. Drill holes carefully and ideally from the back, otherwise a burr lifts around the drill bit.
A larger flat area will show every irregularity, so it pays off to go over it with the finest abrasive paper before spraying and to dust it off.
Wide, thin parts react to a change in temperature more readily than solid bars. In warm conditions they can expand slightly, so do not glue them tightly between two fixed points; leave play at one end and cover it later with a narrow strip.
A few pieces will make cabinet doors, tank hatches, the straight side panels of a flatbed or a sign with lettering added by decal after spraying. The material takes engraving and punched dimples willingly.
