This is a book of modeling literature focused on propeller aircraft in the very small 1:144 scale. The designation of a first volume in the title suggests that it is the opening volume of a longer series. The extent, the division into chapters and the selection of particular subjects are given in the contents of the publication and in the publisher's data.
In 1:144 scale the models built fit into the palm of your hand and a whole collection can be displayed on a single shelf. The smaller area does not reduce the demands, however: an uneven surface, a heavy coat of paint or a roughly applied decal show here just as much as on a large model, they are only harder to work with. Small parts are also less forgiving of coarse tools and of an excess of glue. That is precisely why literature devoted to this scale suits experienced builders too.
The publication is published bilingually, in English and Spanish. A Czech translation is not included. For reading it is enough to have a basic knowledge of English at the level of the technical terms a modeler commonly meets in kit and paint instructions.
The book suits modelers who devote themselves to aircraft in small scales, as well as collectors of modeling literature who are completing the series. Models, paints and tools are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
